Two tunes, two different classes, one AWD, one RWD.  5! count em 5 replica paint jobs, all taken from the freshest, coolest decade to top em off.  Both tuned by JoePerkins and painted by Eddie… you definetly don’t want to miss these!

[B500 BMW M1-RWD for MEDIUM TRACKS]

Tuned for Silverstone and tracks like it, this Beemer is very fast for a near full grip tune.  Joe did an excellent job of finding a nice balance between the two… Resulting in a highly competitive RWD tune that don’t come around everyday.

The multiple paints for this car is due to my indecisiveness when Joe posted a barrage of paints in our staff section when deciding what to spray on it.  Most of the paintjobs on these cars from the 80′s we’re fairly simple and kind of plain, but striking and bold at the same time.  So I figured it wouldn’t be a prob to knock a few out to give some variety.

Paint note:  The #62 Crocksford replica paint is in the MOJO Factory SF, the alternate #5 Marlboro and #80 BASF paints can be found in ThatMOJOmofoEd’s and Bayless 39′s SF(check MOJO Factory’s friends to find us). All are only 10K.

Capable of top 200-250′s at all Silverstone tracks, Joe ran a 1:26.042 at Silverstone Int’l…

[E275 LANCIA DELTA HF INTEGRALE-AWD MEDIUM TRACKS]

Tuned for Motegi East, Silverstone, etc. This no-aero, basically no nothing build is a blast to drive.  Joe managed to squeeze as much into this car as possible while keeping her under 275.  This Lancia is a must have for on-line racing, it gets off the line SUPER fast, and has enough under the hood in E class to keep up the pace.  The gears are nice and long, seeming to go for days in 3rd gear and momentum this car has just keeps pushing.  If you check Joe’s time at Motegi East, you can see this tune is still in the top 100 from November…since then its been sharpened up and polished for release. 

For paints, see above, except a little more complex and Rally style!

Paint note: The #1 Totip replica can be found in the MOJO Factory SF, the alternate #1 FINA paint can be found in ThatMOJOmofoEd’s and Bayless 39′s SF. Check MOJO Factory’s friends to find us.  All paints and tunes are only 10K.

In the past we’ve occasionally tried to tune cars capable of taking #1′s, and we had fun doing it whether we got it our not.  So I came up with the idea to release LB tunes with MJ paints on them.  This series will be dubbed “Flight Club”.  We’ll generally target random tracks, and try to stay away from the WRX’s/Vipers/Mk2′s… I think its safe to say my paints won’t ever touch one of those Mk2′s.  We’ll see..

These tunes and paints will vary in the way they are released.  Some will be AH only, some in the SF limited in time or numbers.  We don’t want these to be confused with, or become regular releases with the rest of our catalog.  So obtaining them will not be quite as easy, but they won’t be limited to a handful either. Those that grab our rides, will have access to future tune updates and tune variations for other tracks for free. With the possiblility of personalized, custom J’s down the road.

We’ll get things crackin off with the 1st and only car(at this time) in the :59′s at Tsukuba in D class!

Tony tuned a very sharp Ford Fiesta, that Joeperkins took #1 within two days after the tune was finished.  He’s the lone 59er, and we hope this sparks some interest in people to try it!  This tune has awesome acceleration, utilizing 5 gears is different at first, but once you do a few laps, the times drop and drop and… The handling rating does this lightweight AWD no justice, it hugs the final turn at Tsukuba like no other.

I went back to our old fav, the Air Jordan V, and used the design from the infamous shoe as inspiration for this…  I also added a little portrait of MJ in a “sketched” look on both sides.  We hope this sleek looking Fiesta keeps you coming back for more LB hunting at Tsukuba!

Laptimes where fairly limited to Tsukuba, but this tune will do well at some other shorties. At Tsukuba we have 3 team members in the top 10, and 6 hovering around the top 50.

Each active member of the garage has a set of 5 Fiesta’s to put in the AH with 200K buyouts and also 1 Gold Edition to do as they like(comp prize, sell, thread giveaway).  There is 11-12 of us right now, so numbers will be low!
We’ll announce here when they are up.  You can also post here that you’d like us to add them, and if someone sees it, we’ll try to get some up.  These will be limited to under 75 total, so you’ll have to grab one soon, they might only be available for a week!  Like I said, we will try to accomodate those that are really after them, but once their gone, its off to the next one!

We have a very special tune from an unlikely source… for the man behind the wrench and grease, its his first.  But it came together like he was a RWD vet.  This tune is pulling top 100′s at short tracks and is bagging quite a few wins for our team and testers in lobbies.

This will be one of a few RWD releases we have coming soon.  These will be our contribution to keeping RWD lobbies alive(and in turn maybe some more classes will be brought back).  We hope you’ll enjoy this fine tuned beast on release!

April 1st, 2010…

A600 Nissan Skyline R34 MSpeed: K-Spec 6 medium track tune…

TUNE:
Tuned once again by Tonyp126, the annointed “King of Skylines”… by himself and others. Brings a completely re-vamped, re-built, re-tuned… re-everything, to the table.  He has meticulously tuned this R34 to be the best he possibly could get it.  Tuned for Catalunya National, where its the #1 Skyline, this tune is on rails for how fast it is.  The build is made for quick accel out of turns and handles extremely well for how fast it is.  The other R34 we did was aimed at short tracks as we’re quite a few others released around here.  But to us, Catalunya School and Iberian Mini… boring. lol.  So he made sure it killed at longer tracks, while still being able to hold its own at the shorties. I’ve tried many times, with other tunes from us and other garages, to hit a 1:23 at Motegi East in a non-LB car, my total laps might be over 1,000 there, this was the first and only tune I’ve done it in.  For those that we’re around, this tune is definetley up to snuff with the Nissans we released at the end of FM2, if not better.

PAINT:
The paint is a storm thats been brewing in my demented head for a LONG time.  I’ve been blathering to the fellas around the garage about “infusion replicas” since the game came out.  Finally did one!  As much as we all love the MSpeed rep around the garage, I refused to do it again.  I painted one on a R32 in Forza 2, and since it had been done VERY well by 2 other garages early on in this game, it wasn’t happening.  So I took our fondness of uber-sexy Keeley Hazell, and mixed it in a bowl with the MSpeed rep… the result is this!  I hope you enjoy the MOJO twist on a classic. You can say its been done to death, but I’ve not seen an infused replica around here, so to me, this is a first.

Spec Special Limited Edition tune and paint:

This tune was done by Dubya and Tonyp, packing an extra 81HP under the hood, expect this to be your R34 of choice for long tracks.  Sacrafices were made in the handling, but a fastie like Dubya actually prefers this one.  It’s extremely fast and still manages well in turns.

We’ll be giving a maximum of 10 away as prizes, with one already out… and selling 5 via the AH, first one will expire on release day.  So only a total of 15 will ever see their way outta the MOJO labratory… a rare spec tune and alternate paint could be yours!

Well, it’s a good thing this one hasn’t been done before.  We thought outside of the box with this tune… and the paint as well for that matter.

A killer tune by MofoDubyaMOJO, this AWD monster has bagged multiple top 20-100′s and fares well at almost any medium track in D class. Yep, thats right, D350 Subaru 04 WRX Sti… A very healthy alternative to the usual leaderboard cars, this tune and paint is a must have for your hotlapping and lobby needs. With a 5.6 top speed and 5.6 handling rating, you know its bound to be killer. I took it out for some laps for the first time the other day, and watched the laps just keep dropping, I kept finding more and more time to shave off and it a blast to run while doing it.

The paint was a collab between K0sM and JoeYankee11. Together, they put an awesome livery together to compliment Dubya’s superb tune. The paint was an idea from K0sM that dates back to the earliest days of wwplop. He’s beside himself that it was finally realized, and that he had a big hand in its undertaking. We don’t have any boundries with what we’ll do for a paint and this one proves the point. Well done fellas!
