I agree, this sounds stupid.  The rumore has been out there for a few years now and everyone had denied it.....it was mainly around Activision wanting to charge for it and when Black Ops came out it was denied again.  I won't be buying it (the service) but I'll get the game, if it becomes an issue that affects gameplay i'll just buy NCAA and beat up on the computer all night like BASS!

I pre-ordered, bass.  You and I can still hook up for some HQs action if the rest of the crew decide to stick to their hater ways.  :smokecigar:

You say that about every COD game, yet you've owned them all. Hmmmmmmmm.  :wind:

I did(not being a smartass)??  I know I said it about Blops, but I couldn't pass up a nice deal like the one I got....I'm gonna trade it in and end up being out about 5 bucks for a year of owning it.... and that was actually my favorite CoD( to play online) yet.  I love Cold War era history, so blops was spot on for me.  But its getting a bit old doing basically the same shit with the same perks/guns, just different locations and faces.  I need something different to fill the "not in mood for forza tonight" gap.

They brought back hardcore HQ. Also, the added "express" which, from what I read, is multiple game types with only a 30 second gap between matches and you can't use ghost or last stand. Got raped for a couple matches before I got my hardcore game back on track. Then it was R sauce for all.

Anyone else here get Game Informer mag through Game Stop?  Just read the preview of MW3, and they sound disappointed in it.  Sounded like they had alot of time put in on the MP-side.

Not trying to CoD bash here, as I'm sure it'll be alot of fun...but  :mutsop:

All the new additions Treyarch added are gone, since this is MW3, not Blops 2.  So the dive animation is gone(it was gay looking and didn't really get you out of trouble IMO), no credits to use to level up weapons, no contracts, no decals for weapons etc.  These were all things(accept the dive) that I liked alot about Blops.

Kill streaks are now selected from a pre-determined set, only three sets are available.  Juggernaut is also a killstreak reward now.

They did add a cool twist to the TDM, its called "kill confirmed".  Where you or a teammate have to retrieve the dog tags of someone you just killed, for a kill point to be awarded.  This is obviously an attempt to curb campers.

I tried to check the game informer site for the preview, but its prolly mag-only... I haven't recieved an e-zine for this issue yet.

lets  :oooh2: all  :wooi2: go  :whaaat: play  :wahooo: BF3  :skippinglikejoe:

Don't think we need a lot of convincing on the subject.

It's tiny little improvements here and there. Nothing major. It's just like Basketball Game 2015 and I love Soccer 2014.

It's the same, but the same.

We need some Sweeds with destructable environments!

Please don't track mud into this fine thread with that Bad Company innuendo.
