S614 Nissan S14 drift tune and guide
« on: February 25, 2010, 09:19:34 PM »
Looking to dabble in drifting? Maybe this will get you started...

This will be the place to find the tuning set-up for our first drift release.  I'll leave this thread open for feedback, changes you maybe made and any questions you might have.  I'm hoping this gets people interested in drifting, as I've had alot of fun with it when working on some tunes.  I'll probably never get beyond being a casual drifter, so I have no problem sharing this tune to get people started...

I put alot of time and effort to getting it where its at right now, so the tune will do the job as is, but I found at first I liked a low horsepower set-up, and as I got going, got comfortable, I added more... enabling me to get from turn to turn sideways, thats when it turned into a blast!

So not having the option of adding more/less to the build, while retaining the tune... was a big downer to me on putting out a drift tune... or buying one at that.   Hopefully this is a good solution.

Without further due... here is the set-up, unlocked, for your sideways pleasure! Enjoy!

I'm not posting the build, since the download for this setup is free at the MOJO Factory SF.   Simply download the tune, apply it to your S14, then go into the tuning setup, it will remove the tune, but all your upgrades will still be there, you just have to re-apply them.  Then plug in this set-up, and your on your way!

Hoping to have the box back early this week and I'll get this tune posted up then.  I also have an S15 tune to add as well.  It's a bit better handling-wise, but this S14 would be the one to roll with for racking up kudos/points.

BTW, this tune and paint are free in our SF now.  When I post the tune, you can go re-apply all the parts and manually put the tune back in, when you take a tune off a car, the parts are all still there, just have to put em back in.  From there I will try to help anyone that wants the tune refined to their tastes.  ;)

Tune posted, along with a fairly extensive guide to help you tune your own, or make adjustments to ours!

Wu-Tang and all associated with them were booty.  There, I said it.

Whoa...I heard that!!

ah! I found it! The reason why Bass was banned (again! :) !

I think this is a perma-ban though. You can't say these things on the interweb
