Got Blops II paid in full today... also paid for Lego Lord of the Rings for my sons bday coming up... Getting a 6 year old a new release game: Bound for dorkdom. lol!

Also grabbed Sniper Elite V2, pretty dope game. Plus, there was an SSX price sticker on the box, so the chick gave it to me for 18.00.  It was apparently supposed to be 34. Win.

BRING ON THE FUTURISTIC M14 WITH GUIDED NOOB TUBE!!!1!!1!

Got my pre-order today for Blops 2.  Interesting fact, and sorry don't have the link, but COD Elite will be free beginning with Blops 2 and you can buy a season pass for the maps for around $50.

I'm really hating the DLC overload with games these days... It almost feels like they short change you on purpose bc they know people will still come back for more.
I might pony up for it on this game if it appears to have the lasting appeal of the first one.  This and forza is about 75-80% all I've played since early '08 so it's kinda justifiable.

Looks like people that don't play the objective are getting their kill whoring nerfed by the new score streak system:

I've been itching for some combat not based in the late 1700s, so I actually started the single player campaign for Battleturd 3. Still haven't ventured online since the beta testing though.

BTW....saw something really badass this weekend watching the LSU game...dude's house we went to had a 110" projector screen he made out of downcloth (put in back of drapes to shade sun).  He spent $60 on it, another $800 on hi def projector and some creative wiring later....bad ass theater action.

At halftime played some drunken blops on the big screen, holy shit is it awesome!

As I sit in my car at GameStop waiting for the line to go down a thought occurred to me. Don't these kids have school tomorrow?  These idiots are literally running to their cars like they found the last golden ticket.  This is truly a spectacle.

By the time I got mine it was too late to play. I knew if I got into it I wouldn't go to work today. Trying to leave early though.

me and the guy behind me were marveling at the dorks that waited in line for 4 hours in 15 degree weather, just to get it 10 mins earlier than us... He was coming from the bar and I off work, somehow that made us less dorky? Lol. The first guy we saw walk out looked like one of those kids that never sees sunlight, and would be squishy like jello if you poked him in the arm... He had the care package and I thought he was going to shit an excitement brick. 'Its just great, I love it already, the plastic is high quality, it's just great' said said nerd. It was creepy but hilarious... Almost as good as the guy that showed up to the AC3 release in FULL Ezio garb.

The last midnight release I went to was for ME3 back in March. There was someone in some homemade N7 armor. Very humorous.
